standby Generators and Safety STANDBY GENERATORS are being widely used by farmers to provide electricity for the operation of essential equipment during a power interruption. These generators are great assets to farm operations when properly installed . . . BUT. .. when improperly installed can be a hazard to our linemen. Installation by a Certified Electrical Contractor, plus inspection by the Power Corporation will ensure the safety of our employees and the protection of your equipment. If you already have a standby generator installed, the Power Corporation will gladly check it over. New installations of course, require a wiring permit and inspection. Call your local N.S.P.C. representative or write: Chief Electrical Inspector Box 910, Halifax. nova scotia power corporation (40)
