We were allowed to give hypodermics, but we were never al? lowed to take any blood from a patient. When I was in training, we weren't allowed to take blood pressure. It would be done by a medical student or the doctor. But there was wonderful supervision. You were watched all the time. We had to make beds. When the patient went home, we had to strip the bed, we had to lysolize--ly- sol solution--to the mattress. Every bed The number of forest fires in Cape Breton is increas? ing.
