So they gave me some chamber work. I had 50 apartments to take care of. Now that's a day's work, from 9 o'clock to 5. They had other girls, you know, doing the same thing. I had mine all done at 1 o'clock. And I'd go home, I'd get my husband's lunch. And then, there was another lady. I had three jobs when my husband was sick in bed. She lived across the street. I went over there and looked after her. She had curva? ture of the spine, and she couldn't get out of bed. And did what was to be done thereo Oh, I met such nice people.
