to get up with a fire extinguisher to put the grease out. The crane'd be burning--the grease'd be burn? ing up on the top of those gird? ers. And they'd still be pouring the heat, and there'd be men up with fire extinguishers putting it out. Walking out on those girders over that hot ladle. You know, sometimes, in order to catch a heat. Say a carbon is down, we'll say, to 40, and you're making 70-carbon rails. That means that you have to put 30 bags of coke in that ladle, and every one of them weigh over 60 pounds. And you had to throw it in. And you have a bunch of men lined up, and they just put their coats over their heads and they just throw one at a time, and keep going around in a circle, trying to get the coke in for you before she'd foam out of the ladle, you know.... And all those little technical things that they don't print. They don't put this in books, you see. You know, I could talk steel all day, I could talk steel for a month. That's all I do!
