I was sorry to hear that you ware ill but hoap you ar well by now. We ar expecting another trip of the steamer. Xmas was pretty dull out hear. No church to go to just sit around. Three of our men quit us and went ashore. They tuk coald feet couldent stand it all winter. I wired John Alex Mclntyre to come and he wired back that his brother Dan will come on the next steamer so I will have company. We havent had much snow hear yet but its aful coald. Had zero weather the last two days. I got a letter from Florence and she was telling me that you ware over to see her and that you brought her a swell cushen. I tell you she was some proud of it. We have a lot of sheep on the island and its an aful hard job to find them and bring them home. The Island is hugh and full of mountains and the sheep ar all over the cliffs and hills.
