liJce that. And he lifted his head. And there was like a ray went right through me. And as that went through me, it said--a revelation that was given to me--my mother would die, but my mother-in-law would live. (I see. So Jesus' head was down, but the head raised.) Yeah.... Opened up his eyes, and the most beautiful blue eyes--I never saw the colour before in my life. The most beautiful blue eyes. Of course, I was offer? ing up my pain. I nearly went crazy going up (the Holy Stairs) . Pain in my foot was wide open. But anyway, that's what happened. So when I left there, came back down to the (train) station, who met me but Grand? ma- -we call her Grandma--she met me with the cinder, that came out of her eye. Just it happened at that very moment. Kay laughs. It's hard to believe. From the moment it was revealed to me, my mother became well and was granted the same until she died, August 26, 1950. On that day, she called me into her room at 3 p.m. and said, "Catherine, I will be dead before the day is over," also men? tioned personal things she wanted me to do. I wasn't surprised at 6 p.m. she be? came unconscious, at 9 she died. A few days after, my foot miraculously cured. I knew she was in Heaven. July 1st, 1951, my sister-in-law noticed me limping. She asked me, "What is wrong?" I said, "I believe my foot is going to be ulcerated again. It's giving me sharp pains." The next morning it was open. Immediate? ly I knew it was for a soul, so I offered it up. I was ex? pecting my tenth child. When touring the Cabot Trail, '' you'll enjoy your stop in Cheticamp.
