So I said to myself, "John Angus, you better move." And move I did--up as fast as I could go. But every time I would get close to the boat, the rope would slip and down I would go. Some? times I would go as far as my feet going in the water. Some more times I would go about half way. I tell you, I was getting tired and getting scared. I came to the conclusion that someone was still aboard, and was doing that to see if I would go back in the boat. neck. There wasn't a track (a footprint) around the coil of rope. Then I went in aboard the big ship, and I made a holler. And sure enough, someone an? swered me, but I couldn't tell where it was coming from.
