pressure pill a day, that's all, just to keep my pressure where it should be.... The only thing that's wrong with me is this ar? thritis. I've had bouts of it all through my life, even when I was very young. I've had bouts of arthritis. But it comes and it goes. But this last time, I don't know-- I've had it a year now. So I don't think it's going to go now. It'll go when I go! (If you told me you were going to go out to work in the garden or milk the cow now, I wouldn't he surprised.) Oh yes, I used to do that. Oh yes, I could go--I didn't have to. Lennox would say, "You don't have to." "Ah yes, and let you stay up till one o'clock in the morning doing the work. I'm going to go and help you." So, we would go. Because, you see--say now if they were a day planting potatoes. They'd start at 7 o'clock in the morning and they'd work till 7 at night--just you imagine. You can imagine how tired the help would be. Well, they wouldn't feel like going to work milking cows after that. He'd have to do the milking on his own. So I would go. I would be working in the house, you see. After the dishes were all--I didn't have a dishwasher. I was the dishwasher. I washed my own dishes. And I didn't have all kinds of--we didn't have running water when I first came here, either. We got it shortly afterwards, though, from the well.... (I took some pictures of you and your mats when we met at the exhibit, in Sydney.) Oh, yes, yes. Did you take pictures there? Were you the man who came up and spoke to me? (Yes, I was, dear.) I thought you were. And you came with me when we went to the car? (That's exactly right. I'm that good-looking, tall fellow.) Indeed you are! And besides that, you gave me a kiss, and you're going to have to give me anoth? er one! (It'll be my pleasure.) Ida laughs. (And I don't give them away that easily!) I don't accept them that easily! Laughter.
